THE STAR HISTORICAL MUSEUM REMEMBERS "THE FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM" WHO RECENTLY PASSED AWAY, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

 

In January 2010, the Star Historical Museum received a grant from the LCRA, with help from the Hamilton County Electric Co-op and the Central Texas Telephone Co-op, to purchase a vertical lift to access the second floor of the museum.  Many thanks!!!

Welcome to the Star Historical Museum

The Star Historical Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and displaying items that have been donated or loaned by past and present residents, depicting the history of Star, Mills County, Texas. The museum currently houses photos, collections, and family archives of the first settlers of this small town.
