Built just prior to WWII, this rock building housed the first electric power plant; Jim Soules' Magnolia/Mobil Gas Station; a family residence; Paul Kelso’s Egg & Feed Store,  and the second and last home of the Masonic Lodge.   Prior to the present-day Star Historical Museum,  it was home to the Star Volunteer Fire Department.
